Well, it’s finally happening, this little nomadic family is saying goodbye to Chicago. This is a tough one. I truly feel like I’ve found my home here. I found my man. I met my dog and my babies. I have true friendships and friends like family. We’ve made our little apartments cozy, warm and home. I’ve spent more hours than I can count roaming the streets of my neighborhood and never could or would get sick of it. I’ve had amazing jobs and learned so many new skills. I’ve met countless people that inspire me in many different aspects of life and challenged my perceptions on how things should be. Yes, I will miss Chicago forever.

However, it’s the right time for us. It’s time to go. It’s time to start again in literal greener pastures (sorta!). We are excited to hang with another side of our family. We are looking forward to having a home and a yard for Beau and Quinn. We are anticipating sunny skies and road trips on the weekends. We’re hopeful. It’s been a long road to get here in many ways but we’re ready. We’re going!
