Hi! We have started our long trip back to Chicago, we have safety arrived in Helsinki. It was sunset when we left Santorini and it looked like sunset the entire 3 hour flight north to Finland. In fact, the sky is still light here at midnight! The pictures from the plane cannot do the vibrant sunset colors justice but it was very pretty, as pretty as it can be through an airplane window. It is a reminder that each day is new. Though our vacation is coming to a close, we’ll still have beautiful sunsets in Chicago this summer and we’ll get to see family and friends soon! Also, arriving at midnight, most restaurants are closed, we ate Burger King and are staying at a Hilton so almost America in our minds!
