Segovia

Today we drove from Madrid to Segovia, Spain. It was about an hour drive and so worth it!!! We are loving Segovia, it’s a much smaller town but has a beautiful cathedral, an awesome castle (where we spent most of the day) and a two-story Roman aqueduct from 112 AD. It was built without cement or mortar. Absolutely stunning!! I am going to add a ton of pictures, feel free to ask about things! Oh! Fun fact, the castle is said to be the castle they modeling Sleeping Beauty’s after.

Tonight we are tired. We bought Segovian wine titled- Vivir Sin Dormir (live without sleeping), eating jamon ibérico, salami and manchego cheese in our hotel room which overlooks the town’s main square. Up and out early again tomorrow!

Looks like you two are having an amazing time! We love looking at your photos and reading about your trip! Thinking about the history of these places you are seeing and visiting is mind blowing! Looking forward to more updates.
