Great weekend! Nick and I decided to spend “the last weekend in Chicago” celebrating the city and doing all the things we love to do during the summer. He says I keep talking like we are never coming back, lol. We are. It’s just that June won’t happen again until next year!!

This week and weekend, we got in a couple runs, a Brewers game (and made new friends!), Portillo’s hot dogs and a big beef, a walk through the city to Maggie Daley park with Nick’s family, donuts at Stans, drinks on the river walk, bbq at Bub City, Nick played a round of golf, we ran a 5K at the zoo, and the Cavs (Warriors!?) Game 2 with friends. We still had so much more we wanted to do and people we were hoping to see but for now, it’s good. I’m ready for Monday.
